Minimum Admission Requirements

Professional Experience

Applicants should have at least three years of professional experience, ideally in healthcare or a related field. This ensures each student brings real-world insight, engages deeply with advanced coursework, and contributes to a collaborative, executive learning environment.

Bachelor's Degree, GPA and Petition Considerations

A bachelor’s degree equivalent to a U.S. four-year baccalaureate from a regionally accredited institution is required. Applicants should have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale, demonstrating readiness for graduate-level business study and alignment with the academic standards of the OHSU School of Medicine.

Low GPA Petition

Applicants whose GPA falls below a 3.0 may submit a Low GPA Petition as part of their online application, outlining strategies for success in the Healthcare MBA program.

International Applicants & Degree Requirements

International transcripts may need to be evaluated by World Education Services (WES) International Credential Advantage Package (ICAP) course-by-course evaluation. Visit wes.org for detailed instructions and fees. All evaluation costs are the responsibility of the applicant.

English Language Proficiency

If your degree was earned in a country where English is not the primary language of instruction, TOEFL scores may be required to demonstrate English proficiency.

Visa Eligibility

The Healthcare MBA is an online graduate program and is not eligible for F-1 or J-1 visa sponsorship under current U.S. immigration regulations. Applicants requiring a student visa to study in the U.S. are not eligible for admission at this time.
